The MAGA movement of Trump is racist.
Being anti-DEI is racist. Anti-DEI people are essentially saying that they’re against hiring qualified people of color, other minorities or women before hiring a less qualified white man to a position. MAGA wants to discriminate. MAGA needs to discriminate. MAGA wants a white American history taught. That’s why they’re banning anything that has an emphasis on women or minorities and erasing their history.[1] It’s why the Trump administration has so many racists in its employ.[2]
Misogyny is another core MAGA Christo-fascist value. One of the first people fired, along with a black General Charles Q. Brown Jr., was the woman commandant of the Coast Guard, Admiral Linda Lee Fagan, as well as 4 other top military leaders.[3] [4] [5]
A cornerstone of Trump’s MAGA movement is doing away with protections provided by the Civil Rights Act. MAGA opposes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. MAGA OPPOSES People of Color because they are all less qualified than white people in their white supremacist world view.
Here’s what the title of the Civil Rights Act says:
An Act to enforce the constitutional right to vote, to confer jurisdiction upon the district courts of the United States of America to provide injunctive relief against discrimination in public accommodations, to authorize the Attorney General to institute suits to protect constitutional rights in public facilities and public education, to extend the Commission on Civil Rights, to prevent discrimination in federally assisted programs, to establish a Commission on Equal Employment Opportunity, and for other purposes.[6]
The entire point of the act is to prevent qualified people of color, women, and minorities from being discriminated against and passed over simply because they aren’t white.
Racism is at the very core of Trump’s MAGA movement and Trump himself. He will accept wealthy people of color since the worship of money is another core MAGA value. That’s why Trump voters have NOT wavered in their support of Trump.[7] They do NOT have buyers’ remorse. They absolutely do not care if Trump fucks them over. Racism isn’t new to Trump’s family. Trump’s father Fred Trump was arrested at a KKK rally but that’s about all that is known regarding his direct involvement.[8] Remember Fred and Donald Trump violated the Fair Housing Act by not renting apartments to black people?[9] Trump and his father, Fred Trump, were charged with racial discrimination under the Fair Housing Act regarding them not letting “colored” people rent apartments. They settled with the government without admitting guilt.
I’m not going to bother with end notes linking all of the racist comments and actions of Trump over the years though there have been some standout videos. I would be remiss though if I didn’t mention all of the fascist neo-Nazis and white supremacists that keep popping up in his administration and cult of followers.[10]
Now MAGA is imposing their racist world view on America. They want schools to teach the history of white people. MAGA wants less government by putting the Führer Trump MAGA government overseer of everything from education to the military and all that’s in between.
