MAGAts SAY MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
But they don’t know when that time was. Have you ever heard a MAGAt worshipper say what time they were referring to in our nation’s history? BTW Reagan coined the term in 1980.[1]
MAGA is oblivious and tone deaf to the world around them except as it relates to them and their narrow view of society and humanity. Theirs is a movement based upon racism, misogyny, subservient women, confrontation, hatred, conspiracy theories, false information, ignorance, violence and revenge against any and all their opposition no matter how small or large.
When was America “great”? When was book banning and burning great? When was the censorship of certain progressive words or phrases great? Was it during the great depression when more people were poor and hungry? Was it when black people were slaves? Was it when women didn’t have rights? Was it when children worked in factories and mines? Was it when indigenous people were being slaughtered?
Provide examples, MAGA!
MAGA HITLER LOVING GOES MAINSTREAM
“Minnesota f****ts. Arkansas - inbred cow f****ers Nebraska - revolt in our favor; blocked their bind and have a majority of their delegates Maryland - fat stinky Jew … Rhode Island - traitorous c***s who I will eradicate from the face of this planet.”[2]
The above comments are some of the milder ones made by young MAGAt Republicans that got caught with their messaging out. They also referred to black people as monkeys and watermelon eaters. They talked about gas chambers and loving Hitler. They covered a lot of ugly ground in 2,900 pages of texting.
None of this is new for Republicans! It has gone on for decades. They’re always aghast and appalled when it leaks out to the public.
Perhaps MAGA considers 1939 the time when 20,000 American fascists rallied at Madison Square Garden as when America was great. Just imagine, Banners of George Washington surrounded by swastikas! The German American Bund was trying to join pro-American white nationalism with supporting Nazis as being patriotic. A hundred thousand protestors showed up against them.
Since the racist Charlie Kirk died, far-right Hitler lover holocaust denier antisemite Nick Fuentes has stepped up to the MAGA plate with the support of Putin-loving Tucker Carlson. Remember Fuentes? He showed up with the whack job Ye at Mar a Lago to dine and chat with Trump.[3]
When I was a Republican, I went to regular meetings and received lots of emails from other Republicans. I heard a lot of racists talk during President Obama’s rise and success. The number of racist texts and images that I received from other Republicans referring to him and the First Lady as monkeys and worse was appalling.
Remember when Gabby Giffords was shot? They joked about that and her recovery.
White Supremacists and Nazis popped up in Trump’s first administration as well as his second one. Say what you will Trump KNOWS his core base. They are sympatico!
I voted for President Obama but didn’t break from the party until 2016 when Trump won the nomination. I already knew that Trump was a full-blown racist. Finally, I’d had enough. I have no idea why I waited so long to leave.
I regret staying as long as I did.
THEN CAME A BLUE WAVE ON 11/5/2025
MAGAts’ quest to create a fascist America in their own Christian White Nationalist image took a hit on 11/5/2025 with Democrats scoring major consequential victories all across our nation, as well as small ones like the school board in Wichita, KS. Like Zohran Mamdani winning the race to become Mayor of New York City.
Yes, a young Muslim immigrant is to become Mayor in the city where Trump’s family started. Imagine that. Mamdani. And all the MAGA billionaires couldn’t stop him with their waves of fear mongering race baiting attack ads.
At its core MAGA only has ignorance, fear, racism and hatred to sustain their movement. There is no depth. They define their freedom by what they deny or take away from others. They push others down in order to raise themselves. The brutality that MAGA is exacting on people of color is what they want for any and all their opposition. They want their ignorance taught in schools. They want their vapid fascist beliefs to be the law of the land.
What happened 11/5/2025 shows that their fascism can be stopped.
It’s time to be proud and get loud.
